Non-Denominational Ministry PDF Print E-mail
At no time is a Jewish Chaplain required to perform religious services for other denominations. However, he will be called upon to provide counseling, advocacy and ministry to people of all faiths, and is in many cases the only Rabbi that non-Jewish soldiers and their families will ever come in contact with. As such, Jewish Chaplains fulfill a very important role for the Jewish community, the regard for which can be determined by the Chaplain's role and person as he engages in ministry and professional services, military lectures and high-profile speaking engagements that represent the Jewish people as a whole.
